Ajayi Emmanuel Olatunji is a highly accomplished civil engineer with over 35 years of experience in infrastructure development and project management. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (First Class Honors) and an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, and is a COREN-registered engineer. He is an active member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (MASCE), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in engineering practice. As the Chairman/CEO of Benij Nigeria Limited, Ajayi has overseen some of the most transformative engineering projects in Nigeria. Notable achievements under his leadership include the 700MW Zungeru Hydroelectric Power Project, one of the largest hydropower projects in West Africa, and the 240MW Afam Three Power Plant. Both projects significantly contribute to Nigeria’s power generation capacity, furthering the nation’s energy infrastructure goals. In addition to his work in the power sector, Ajayi has been instrumental in road infrastructure development. He has led Benij Nigeria Limited in the construction of 556km of roads in Minna Township and 25 Local Government Areas in Niger State, enhancing regional connectivity and supporting economic growth. His role in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Minna Township Roads (Phase I & II), as part of the Niger State Urban Renewal Program, underscores his expertise in urban development projects. Moreover, Ajayi has guided Benij in partnering on the 44km Bida Ring Road Project, further demonstrating his leadership in large-scale infrastructure. Beyond engineering, Ajayi serves as the Chairman of Chintech Electro Meter Nigeria Limited, where he oversees the manufacturing of electrical metering systems. His work in this field contributes to the growth of Nigeria's electricity supply industry, supporting energy distribution and efficiency. Adebisi Ajayi is an accomplished senior executive with over 32 years of experience in development banking, finance, and business management. She holds a B.Sc. in Building and has spent her career driving financial and gender-based initiatives, particularly in promoting women’s enterprises. Her leadership and expertise have significantly shaped Nigeria's development finance landscape, particularly during her time as Head of the Gender Business Group at the Bank of Industry (BoI), where she managed a portfolio exceeding N40 billion (~US$131.2 million). In her role at the Bank of Industry, Adebisi was pivotal in advancing women’s economic empowerment by facilitating access to finance for women-led businesses. Her efforts not only spurred growth in the sector but also positioned her as a champion of gender equality in entrepreneurship. She oversaw multiple successful programs, designed to uplift and support women in business, driving both financial inclusion and socio-economic development across the country. Now, as Executive Director at Benij Nigeria Limited, Adebisi leverages her deep knowledge of financial services and project management to steer the company’s strategic operations.
